2023 SPRING HOCKEY REGISTRATION

Welcome to 2023 Spring Hockey Registration!

Looking to get a jump on next season and be ready to impress at the fall tryouts?  Then join us at Kenosha Ice for our spring hockey season!


Spring Teams

Our spring teams offer skaters the chance to play high-intensity competitive hockey April – May.  The Kenosha Komets will roster teams at the Squirt through Bantam levels for an 8-game spring league and one tournament.  See details below:
 

Skater Eligibility: Players must have participated in a full-ice travel or house program in the 2022-2023 season, or participated in Komets Devos and received approval from the hockey director.   All players must be currently registered with USA Hockey. 

*** Please note that players will participate on spring teams at their age bracket for the 2023-24 season.  Birth years are referenced below. ***

  • Squirts (2013-2014) - Coach: TBD
  • Peewee (2011-2012) - Coach: TBD
  • Bantams (2009-2010) - Coach: TBD

Cost: $450/Skater; $225/Goalie

  • Game jersey (Practice Jerseys are used as Game Jerseys in the Spring)
  • Weekly Full-Ice Practices
  • (8) Spring League Games 
  • (1) Tournament – (TBD)

Games:  Spring league games will be held on the weekends at various rinks in Wisconsin and Northern Illinois. - Schedule is TBD

Practices: To be held at Kenosha Ice. Players will wear their fall practice jerseys for the spring session. Anyone new to the organization will receive a set to use. - Schedule is TBD but will begin March 27, 2023 and end May 19, 2023.

Tryouts: Evaluations will be held at each age bracket – players not selected for a team will receive a full refund.

Tryout Dates: To be held the week of March 13-17th.  Exact times to be posted on the Komets website and emailed to all those registered as well.


Boundaries

The Kenosha Komets can accept skaters from the following areas:

  • ILLINOIS:  ANY resident from ANY community in Illinois.
  • WISCONSIN:  ANY resident of Kenosha, Racine or Walworth Counties.

(Wisconsin residents from other counties may still be eligible but are subject to WAHA & USA Hockey rules that govern out-of-district skaters. Contact the Komets for more details.)


USA Hockey Requirement

Each Player must register first with USA Hockey and then return to this Registration Session to signup for the 2022 Spring Season.

  • Step 1:  CLICK HERE to go to USA Hockey Registration and register your player(s). Be sure to PRINT and SAVE their confirmation code(s). Remember to register EACH of your players with USA Hockey. Each player must have their own unique USA Hockey confirmation number.
  • Step 2:  Return to this registration and proceed. Later in this registration session you will need to enter the USA Hockey Confirmation Code that you received in Step 1.
